چکیده
To evaluate the associations among immune cells (T-cells, B-cells, Macrophages and NK cells) in human endometrium during mid-luteal phase of menstrual cycle. Endometrial biopsies were obtained from 116 women (7 days after LH surge) natural cycles. The presence CD3-positive (T-cells), CD4-positive (T-helpers), CD8-positive (T-killers), CD14-positive (Macrophages), CD68-positive CD56-positive (NK CD79α-positive (B-cells) endometrial samples was confirmed by immunohistochemical staining using CD3 (BRB063, Zytomed Systems), CD4 (IS649, Dako), CD8 (1-CD040-02, Quartett), CD14 (Е-AB-71017, Elabscience), CD68 (IS613, CD56 (А00121-0007, ScyTek), CD79α (IS621, Dako) antibodies, respectively. percentage positively stained stromal evaluated Image-J software (NIH, Maryland, USA) multiple sections. αvβ3 Integrin Express on Mid-luteal Human Endometrium: An Immunogold and Immunofluorescent Staining Study
Introduction: The implantation is a complex procedure that involves many molecules. One of these molecules is integrin specially &alphav&beta3 which serves as receptor for components of extra cellular matrix to act as bridging molecules between the blastocyst and the endometrial surface during the implantation process. By blocking &alphav&beta3 interactions, the implantation can be impaired. ...
متن کاملEffects of Mifepristone on the Human Endometrium and the Fallopian Tube during the Luteal Phase
Mifepristone given postovulatory has been shown effective for contraception, but the precise mechanism of action is still poorly understood. A better understanding of the mechanisms of action of mifepristone, when used for contraception, is important for further development and optimizing the regimen of use. To study the effects of mifepristone during the luteal phase, a single dose of 200mg mi...
متن کاملExpression of HOXA11 in the mid-luteal endometrium from women with endometriosis-associated infertility
BACKGROUND A decrease in HOXA11 expression in eutopic mid-secretory endometrium has been found in women with endometriosis-associated infertility. METHODS Using Real-time quantitative PCR (RQ-PCR) and western blotting analysis we studied the HOXA11 transcript and protein levels in mid-luteal eutopic endometrium from eighteen infertile women with minimal endometriosis, sixteen healthy fertile ...
متن کاملChanges in gene expression during the early to mid-luteal (receptive phase) transition in human endometrium detected by high-density microarray screening.
High density cDNA microarray screening was used to determine changes in gene expression occurring during the transition between the early luteal (prereceptive) and mid-luteal (receptive) phases in human endometrium. Of approximately 12,000 genes profiled, 693 (5.8%) displayed >2-fold differences in relative levels of expression between these stages. Of these, 370 genes (3.1%) displayed decrease...
متن کاملDifferential gene expression profiling of endometrium during the mid-luteal phase of the estrous cycle between a repeat breeder (RB) and non-RB cows
BACKGROUND Repeat breeding directly affects reproductive efficiency in cattle due to an increase in services per conception and calving interval. This study aimed to investigate whether changes in endometrial gene expression profile are involved in repeat breeding in cows. Differential gene expression profiles of the endometrium were investigated during the mid-luteal phase of the estrous cycle...
